Yard Furniture Review

Several weeks ago we purchased a set of Better Homes and Gardens yard furniture from Wal-Mart. It took about two hours to fully assemble every piece but it was worth it. The furniture looks nice and is comfortable. I was actually thinking of putting it in my living room.

This is nice furniture for the dollar. If you are looking to get some new yard furniture I would highly recomend the Better Homes and Gardens furniture from Wal-Mart. There are several styles to choose from including Mika Ridge, Bali Island and Sunbridge.

I hope you find a nice set of furniture that fits your style of outdoor fun!

One Down

I spent most of today installing gutters on my house. My dad was helping and we were able to finish up everything except the downspouts. (I had to order them in.) The house looks great!
Now the next projects are ready to complete. Finishing the base cabinets in our kitchen to look the same as the top cabinets. Building the driveway gate. I hope to get these next two done before winter. I think it will happen.
I hope all your projects are going well and are getting done. Have fun!

Lets go "Glamping"

You want to get out and camp but you really don't want to rough it.  Here is a solution for you.  Go glamping.  What is glamping?  The short anwser is glamorous camping.  You can go to a resort or you can create your own glamorous camp site.

By going to a resort, you will truly have the luxury treatment.  They have tents aready decorated with Persian rugs, antiques and fine furniture.  You can have your meals prepared by a gourmet chef.  Have a relaxing rubdown in the massage tent.  These resorts will cost you though.  One resort on average is $10,000 per week.

If you want to go glamping for a bit cheaper, you can buy your own decor.   A large tent is a must.  I have one that has two rooms.  Decorate it with a couple of small outdoor rugs.  Some nice yard furniture.  A plasitc plant or two.  You could even get a small outdoor chandelier to hang in your tent. Of course you would have to have a camp site with electricity or bring your own generator.  Some of your campsite neighbors might think it is a bit strange but who cares.  This is your vacation!  Have fun glamping!

Olympics Today

The zoo trip for today was canceled because of rain. It was a nice relaxing day though. Rain seems to be pretty relaxing.
Since we were inside most of the day, we watched some of the Olympics. I don't have much to say about the Olympics except they don't have football. They do have soccer though. I wish that it was not broadcast at 4:00 am. Perhaps a replay during the day would be good.
I took my wife out to eat at Minervas tonight. The food and company was wonderful. My Mother in lasw watched our three boys for us. Everyone had a great evening.
I hope your weekend is realxing. Enjoy!

The Long Week

I know that every week is only 7 days. This one seems pretty drawn out though. My wife and I have both been busy with our businesses and other part time jobs. This is the feast part of owning your own business. I will have about 60 hours in after Friday. I am really looking forward to our zoo trip on Saturday. The new big cat exibit is opening and by the looks of it it will be pretty cool.   Just one more day to go.

A Word About Spongebob

I never liked SpongeBob. That is until I started watching it with my son. SpongeBob is always so happy to be doing anything he is doing. I think that is a good lesson for us. God commands us to do everything with joy. Since everything we do is for or at least should be for His Glory.
It is funny how our King uses things like SpongeBob to point us to Him. Oh, I do like SpongeBob now.
